Hang on to your math hats

OK, so first let me state that I am not so good at math, though getting better and I am always intrigued by some concepts and patterns that math sometimes reveals.

Over the last few years perusing youtube I always seem to hit this video every now and then but I always dismissed it, sometimes I'd watch a few minutes and then my brain would say, enough, this is crap.  However, last night, for some reason, the video came back to haunt me in my suggestions list so I clicked it. but this time I went through the entire video, even forced myself to listen to whatever inane comments the participant had to say.
