Smilies

Am I the only one who thinks the smilies in this forum look terrible? If anybody wants to recommend a nice looking pack of smilies, I'm all for it. I was going to steal the ones from GMC, but something different would be preferred. Suggest away.

Re: Smilies

Yes, they look terrible. Go ahead and steal ours. Call me biased, but I still like them better than most I've seen around.

If you have some reservations against looking like yet another IPB rip-off, go here:

They even have generators like this one where you can be creative:

Some of them are pretty tasteless, yet they seem to feature smilies roughly based on the IPB set and can be made to look pretty cool.

I quite like the GMC ones as well. I've been trying to track down the original set (GMC seems to use a subset), but no luck so far. There are so many smilies to weed through when you are looking for something specific. Thanks for the links, I might actually find what I'm looking for now.

EDIT:

I guess I was mistaken. Looking at the IPB distribution it appears that GMC uses the default emotes with a couple extras thrown in. Looks like my quest has ended. hmmm

Re: Smilies

Sorry, I forgot. The only ones I remember being changed from the original IPB distribution is the wink one, as well as replacing a few we thought we didn't need with the GM5-7 icons. And then we added a large set featuring the GM D&D icons.

Re: Smilies

I changed out the smilies for the GMC ones. I also added the GM7 icon set, although I doubt they will ever be used here.

Re: Smilies

This is an old topic. I wasn't moderator at GMC back then.
